The study was conducted from July 2017 to March 2018 to develop and evaluate automotive wiring sound system trainer. Specifically, the study aimed to,1) design an Automotive Sound System Trainer, 2) construct an Automotive Sound System Trainer as to its layout, specification, and principles of operation out of locally available materials. 3) evaluate the performance of the Automotive Sound System Trainer in terms of a) functionality of the Automotive Sound System Trainer; b) effectiveness of the Automotive Sound System Trainer, and 4) compute for the fixed and variable cost of the project.
The Automotive Sound System Trainer was designed with a car stereo, two channel amplifier, sub-woofer, speaker size 8 and tweeter for good sound quality. It was designed and constructed for testing the Automotive Sound System Trainer. The total cost of the project was PHP. 7, 443.00.
The researchers performed the final trial on the prototype. The prototype ran as it was expected to without any hassle or incident. The prototype is now declared functional and ready to use for instructional purposes. The researchers gave a pre-and posttest to the proponents using the five learning elements. There are six students per learning element. After performing each learning elements, the proponents are now more knowledgeable in automotive sound system. Now, the proponents are more competitive in terms of automotive sound system.
