The study was conducted from March 2017 to July 2018 at Cavite State University CCAT-Campus at the Stationary Marine Technology Building to develop and evaluate an angle grinder angle grinder mounting device. Specifically the study aims to: 1) Design and construct angle grinder mounting device using locally available materials; 2) Evaluate the performance of angle grinder mounting device holder in terms of a) Time of cutting metals by using the angle grinder mounting device; and b) Accuracy of the machine to cut metals straight using angle grinder mounting device; and 3) Conduct a cost analysis for the angle grinder mounting device for cutting processes.
Mechanics, professors, students and other allied course were the beneficiaries of the developed prototype. The process used in constructing the device was bench work including grinding, drilling and machining. The collected data were tabulated, getting the mean of different trials used in the development of the project. Data were analyzed using collected data.
