Manero.<br/><br/>The study was conducted during the month of June 2013 to January 2014 in Cavite State University Rosario Campus. The main objective of our study is to develop an Automated Tool Borrower Machine. It composed of eight compartments having one tool each box. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. plan the system through brainstorming and gathering data; 2. analyze the problem in the development of the system based on the gathered data and have a solution; 3. design and construct an Automated tool borrower machine that is capable in lending the tools needed by the borrowers; 4. test, improve and evaluate the performance of the developed prototype; and 5. document the system through user’s guide or manual. <br/><br/>The researchers used three system software tools, the Arduino IDE 1.0.1, MS Access 2008 and Visual Studio C#. They used Arduino 1.0.1 for programming the microcontroller that controls the movement of the motors and Visual Studio C# for sending commands to the microcontroller. <br/><br/>The researchers developed this Automated Tool Borrower Machine for the benefits of the student of Cavite State University Rosario Campus. Also, the intention of the study is to aid students in their responsibility of borrowing and returning of the tools.<br/><br/>A total of 80 participants were invited to evaluate the prototype.
