Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trade Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 20 I 9. Adviser: Engr. Ariesthotle D. Arive and Technical Critic: Mr. Jurick P. Paulino The study was conducted from December 2018 to May 2019 to construct a solar powered electric tricycle using lithium-ion battery. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) compare and contrast the advantage of lithium battery over lead acid battery; (2) fabricate the electrical system of solar powered electric tricycle and design the lithium-Ion battery pack; and (3) evaluate the technical characteristic of lithium-ion battery in terms of power input, power output, charging rate, discharging rate; fuel usage by using alternative power source. The system was 100 percent operational in terms design functions and features. The researchers evaluated the design project using the parameters such as speed, distance, charging rate and discharging rate at Bacao access road. Based on the results of the evaluation, the main objective of the study was attained and produced remarkable results.Item type | Current location | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
