The study was conducted from November 2016 until December 2017 to develop and evaluate single phase to three phase ac electrical power converter with phase monitoring relay Specifically, it aimed to: 1.) design and construct a single phase to three phase ac electrical power converter with phase monitoring relay; and 2.) evaluate the accuracy of the prototype using two-tail test assuming the variance is unequal. The project was focused on the conversion of single-phase electrical power supply to three-phase through three-phase induction motor and has the capability to monitor output voltage, protecting the load and devices itself. lt undergone several stages of research and development process from the conceptualization, construction and testing to the final troubleshooting of the device. The project successfully demonstrated the conversion of single phase to three phase AC electrical power through the use of three phase motor especially controlled by contactors. The output voltage obtained with used of 15, 45 and 900 microfarads capacitors. The project accessibility obtained, yet it was concluded that as recommendation, the use of ammeter and greater horse power rating of idler motor further improved the project capability.
