Auto Dimmer Light Device. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Cavite State University - Cavite College of Arts and Trades, Rosario, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. John Robert G. Briones. Technical critic: Engr. Alvin C. Castro The study was conducted from December 2018 to April 2019 at Cavite State University -CCA Campus Rosario, Cavite to design an auto dimmer light device to be test at the selected hallway of the Cavite State University- CCAT Campus particularly in the hallway of TVEP building. Specifically, the project aimed to: 1) design a device where capable of dimming lights if motion was detected; 2.) test and evaluate the device based on the sensitivity of motion sensor and its response; 3.) check the other LED response when there is no motion/ no motion corresponded to its sensor and was independent on other LED; 4.) conduct cost analysis and comparison to existing devices. It is found out the PIR sensor can dim the LED with help of Arduino. However, the tux needed for the hallway of TVEP building is not accurate to the tux gain by the LED selected by -the researcher. It is recommended to not use the Arduino as the source of LED and it is much suitable to use the source of 220 v ac.Item type | Current location | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
