Microcontroller Based Multifunction Biomass Shredder and Compost Mixer. Design Project. Department of Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Mr. John Michael A. Dharma. Technical critic: Engr. Gee Jay C. Bartolome. The study was conducted from January 2017 to June 2018 to construct a microcontroller-based multifunction shredder and mixer for organic fertilizer development. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1.) design and construct a microcontroller based multifunction biomass shredder and compost mixer to facilitate composting of biodegradable wastes. 2.) evaluate the functionality of the machine in crushing of both green and brown solid wastes to appropriate particle size. 3.) evaluate the capability of the machine components in maintaining the required temperature and moisture of the compost mixture. 4.) develop a system that can help much in farming industry with an eco-friendly waste and organic product. 5.) conduct a cost analysis of the project. This thesis is mainly developing an automated agriculture solid waste shredder and mixer using advance technology in replacement for the conventional composting process to produce an eco-friendly environment fertilizer for soil conditions to help the ever increasing demand in farming industries which is already affected by continuous increase in cost that lessen farmer’s profit. Hence, composting spent a much time to produce such organic fertilizer based on studies, this machine would be of great help specifically to small and medium farmers due to components needed in the process are already available in the farms and will just be crushed into smaller particles then passed through machine process to lessen the days of composting period.Item type | Current location | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
