Multipurpose Micro-growth Chamber. Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College Arts and Trades, Rosario, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. Gee Jay C. Bartolome. Technical Critic: Engr. Juniel M. Arcal. The study was conducted from January 2018 to May 2019 to design and fabricate a multipurpose micro-growth chamber which can provide a controlled environment for horticultural crops. The system provides a monitoring and control system for temperature, humidity and light duration in the chamber. This research project targets health-conscious consumers, households, and/or gourmet restaurants who wish to keep an eye on high-quality and healthy food. The equipment was designed and constructed at the CvSU-CCAT Campus. Equipped with a vapor-compression system and temperature and humidity controls, the chamber can provide a controlled environment conducive for the growth of the crops in the system. The results of the testing and evaluation showed significant difference between the ambient and chamber conditions. It is recommended that the irrigation system be integrated for the full operation of the chamber and a mobile application be designed for remote monitoring and control of the chamber.Item type | Current location | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
