The study was conducted from July 2015 to April 2017 to develop Welding Positioner with Semi-Automatic Pipe Rotator. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1.Design a Welding Positioner with Semi-Automatic Pipe Rotator 2. Construct more convenient equipment for pipe welding 3. Evaluate the quality of outputs of the Welding Positioner in terms of absence of the common defects and the comparison of time consume on beveling pipe using traditional way and with the use of positioner. 4. Conduct cost analysis for the welding positioner with semi-automatic pipe rotator Welding Positioner with Semi-Automatic Pipe Rotator was developed to attached the pipe and properly align in positioning of different degree position, by the use of gear motor and chuck it holds pipe and rotates 360 degree while welding or grinding to perform accurate and precise turning of work. The developed device can hold a minimum diameter of 50.8 millimeter and maximum diameter of 203.2 millimeter and adjustable from horizontal to vertical position or 0 to 90 degree in 15 degree increment with adjustable speed of 0 to 10 rpm in 0.5 increment.
