Project design. Bachelor of Science Industrial Technology major in electrical, Cavite State University Rosario -Campus, Rosario, Cavite. April 2017, Adviser: Ms. Janice G. Dulce. Technical critic: Mr. Jurick P. Paulino. The study was conducted from June 2015 to April 2016 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus in TVEP building to develop and evaluate the pen type electric PCB cutter. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the pen type copper clad board cutter 2) construct the pen type copper clad board cutter from supply and materials available in the local market. 3) evaluate the prototype in terms of speed of cutting in copper clad board, straightness, thickness of cut and safety. 4) conduct a cost analysis of pen type copper clad board cutter. The prototype have three major components, the first one is power supply, an electric device designed to convert alternating current to direct current with 12V DC output to supply electricity to the dynamo. The second major component was the dynamo that requires 12V DC supply/voltage to operate and allows the circular blade to rotate. The last major component was the blade, it provides cutting to the copper clad board. The develop prototype has 20 cm length and diameter of 2.5 cm made by PBC round tube and having an adjustable table to support a copper clad not to move. The developed prototype was proven faster to cut straight. The total cost of the prototype was PHP.3691.00.
