Undergraduate Project Design, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Cavite State University,Rosario,Cavite. May 2016.Adviser: Prof. Mr. Nonilo G.Evangelista. Technical critic: Mr. Jurick P. Paulino. The study was conducted from June 2015 to May 2016 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus in TVEP Building to develop and evaluate the development of dual powered audio power amplifier and wireless microphone. Specially this study aims to:1) design the dual powered audio power amplifier and wireless microphone. 2) construct the dual powered audio power amplifier and wireless microphone from supply and materials available in the local market. 3) evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of dual powered audio power amplifier and wireless microphone. 4) conduct a cost analysis for the dual powered audio power amplifier and wireless microphone. The prototype was conducted with different parts such as: the audio power amplifier with two (2)wireless microphones, condenser microphone and 9 watts led bulb, an inverter was used to make the amplifier dual powered by using a 32Ah dry charged battery and 15A battery charger. Two baffles are used to make the sound of the speaker more intensified and have a better sound quality. Testing and evaluation was conducted for one week. The clear and audible sound of the microphones, economical aspects and safety of this study was measured in several attempts for every trial. The performance intensity and efficiency of this study was assessed by using an audio power amplifier with 1100 watts and speakers with an overall power rating of 1100 watts. The device can fully charge the battery for three (3)hours using the battery charger depends upon the amount of voltage or the emptiness of the battery. The findings of the study were: The podium has a better sound quality when used indoor rather than outdoor or semi indoor application; In turning the volume of the amplifier to max level, feedback from the wireless microphone when too close to the podiunt; The fully charge state of the 12V battery is between 12.9V to 13.1V; the efficiency of this study was based on the usage of the battery, the speaker and number of hours using the device. The total cost of the prototype was PHP 29,975.28
