Cavite State University-Rosario, Cavite. 2015. Adviser: Mr. Nonilo G. Evangelista. Technical critic: Ms. Janice G. Dulce. This Project study entitled Programmable Digital Counter sought to answer the following question; (1) How does the developed Programınable Digital Counter, provide accurate transaction in paying fees during enrolment period? (2) How does the developed Programmable Digital Counter, provide quicker and faster enrolment system? (3.) How does the developed Programmable Digital Counter perform its function effectively and efficiently? The main objective of the project study was to develop and construct a Programmable Digital Counter. Specifically, this study aimed to do the following:(1) Plan a renewable source of energy for Programmable Digital Counter. (2) Analyze the project study as to its functionality, effectiveness and durability. (3) Design a Programmable Digital Counter using 7-segment display.(4) Construct a Programmable Digital Counter from available parts and materials in the local market.(5) Test its capability, functionality, safety, and effectiveness of the prototype. (6) Evaluate the functionality, effectiveness and durability of prototype.(7) Revise and remedy any defect. The device was made of locally available supplies of material andwas developed and assembled inside the electronics technology shop using the available tools and equipment. This prototype was focus only in the development of Programmable Digital Counter. This was conducted at Cavite State University-Rosario Electronics Building (TVEP) from June 2013- February 2014. The developed prototype will be purposely placed either at the cashiers or in the registrar's office. The prototype can perform printing of student number to avail of the first come first serve basis during enrollment period or paying fees in the cashier or doing transactions in the registrar's office. The unit also provides a clear viewing of number on display monitor even the clients are in far away place because it has a voice message circuit. The voice message could be heard and number can be viewed within eight to ten (8-10) meters distance from the cashier or registrar's office. The project operates in 12V DC with 10W to 20W power rating. The prototype is also effective and efficient in indoor application or in a low light environment The time of continuous operation without affecting its functionality and effectiveness is approximately 12 to 20 hours. The project is limited only in four (4) digit counter display. There were thirty participants who evaluated the study which were composed of fifteen (13) electronics students, two (2) non-users; eighi (😎 instructors of Cavite State University-Rosario Campus and seven(7) factory workers in EPZA. The participants rated and evaluated the prototype as to its functionality, workability,Durability, aesthetics, economy, saleability, safety using the Likert scale. Data gathered were tabulated and analyzed using frequency count and mean. The study revealed that the programmable digital counter was successfully developed based on the data obtained from the evaluation of the prototype through survey.Item type | Current location | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
