Una-Mae General Merchandising Incorporated was a trading company selling high quality second hand trucks, heavy equipment and vehicles. The purpose of this study was for Una-Mae General Merchandising Incorporated adapt the era of Information Technology that aims to promote Una-Mae General Merchandising Inc. using the technology advantage and to propose and effective promotional techniques to the company. The researcher used a descriptive research methodology for this study to better describe the problems, situations,and the market of the firm. The initial section of the study was based on interviews., surveys, and personal observation and the additional information from the review materials such as books regarding marketing,documents and reading materials provided by the firm and the information from the internet. The study strongly concluded, that information technology, as a tool for advertisement will help any company that dreamso of becoming big; it is just a matter of how and when the company takes on the change the modern world can offer. Old ways, are good but modern ways is definitely better, everyone should take advantage on what it can give for only then you will realize how peaceful the modern world had become. The researchers would like to recommend to Una-Mae Gen. Merchandising Inc. to adapt the era of information technology as it is powerful tool for advertisement. They can create their own website and domain name. They can also create blog to establish their expertise in more informal way. The company can also use print ads for the awareness of those people who do not use computer/internet regularly. Such as flyers for the small cars like mini coopers and print ads with visible print signs such as banners or poster for heavy equipments like bulldozers and trucks. The company can give discounts for regular customers for limited period of time and offer service warranty in the form of certificate and a maintenance check for their customers and give novelties to their customers such as calendars, pens and paperweights that are imprinted with a company's name and possibly and advertising message that will be given to the customers as a reminder for the company's products and services.
