Adviser: Mrs. Caridad S. Merced.
This study entitled "Effects of Different Organic Fertilizers on the Growth Response Of Pechay" was conducted at Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite from February 27-March 09, 2008 with an objective; 1) Which of the organic fertilizers will enhance the growth response of pechay?.
The LSD (Latin Square Design) was used in the study with the three treatments and two replications. The treatments were T0- (50% soil + 50% commercial fertilizer), T1-(50% soil + 50% quail manure), T2-(50% soil + 50% cow manure).
Based on the findings, with the use of descriptive analysis, in terms of height gained by the pechay plant, T2-(50% soil + 50% cow manure) was found to have a great effect. On the other hand, the three treatments have the same numbers of leaves. ANOVA Table showed that there is no significant difference among the treatments in the height gained and number of leaves.
