Over the past decades, consumers and companies experienced a revolutionary change in which these changes are being promoted by advances in technology that led to an increase in the growth of communication through interactive media. Electronic commerce, also known as e-commerce, is a commercial medium that allows companies and individuals to purchase and sell various goods and services through the internet. The researchers aimed to determine that readiness of the bakery stores in selected areas of Cavite toward e-commerce adoption. The study utilized the descriptive research design as well as the screening and scanning method in selecting the 20 bakery stores in selected areas. The researchers used a descriptive survey design to describe the business profile of the respondents and the level of their readiness towards e-commerce. The study revealed that the majority of the bakery stores are sole proprietorship that operates from 0 to 5 years. Also, the revenue of the bakery stores ranged from 50,000 to below and they have below and 5 employees. On the other hand, the study also revealed the level of readiness of bakery stores in the adoption of e-commerce (a) the participants were ready; (b) the participants were ready while (c) the participants were somehow ready. The study found out that most of the bakery stores encountered challenges in the unfamiliarity of adoption in e-commerce. Hence, the researchers recommend that bakery stores should focus to widen the sample location, and how effective the adoption of e-commerce in bakery stores.
